Wolseley Pith Helmet-OLD
This pith helmet style is reminiscent of a classic fireman's helmet. The helmet was named after M/Gen. Sir Garnet Wolseley, who developed the original pattern. We have seen many variations on the name...Wolsey, Wolesley, etc., but the correct spelling is Wolseley.
Asian Conical Hat
These hats go by various names on this side of the Pacific Ocean. Some call them Coolie Hats (but we think this is pejorative), others call them Chinese Fisherman Hats (but we think this is too narrow and limiting).
